Privacy Notice for the SP Connect Erzbergrodeo Sweepstake (May 29 – June 1, 2025)

2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

Participation in the sweepstakes requires subscribing to our email newsletter. Participation is voluntary and based on your explicit consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Execution of the sweepstakes (managing participants, selecting and notifying the winner),
  • Sending our email newsletter with product updates, promotions, and offers,
  • In the event of winning: collecting your name and postal address for prize shipment.

3. Categories of Personal Data

We process the following data:

  • Upon entry: Email address (required for newsletter subscription)
  • In case of winning: Name and postal address (required solely for prize shipping)

4. Duration and Data Retention

The sweepstakes runs from May 29 to June 1, 2025.
The winner will be drawn and notified no later than June 13, 2025.

Your email address will be retained for the duration of your newsletter subscription.
Name and postal address (if applicable) will only be used to ship the prize and deleted immediately thereafter, unless legal retention obligations apply.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email. Upon unsubscribing, your email address will be deleted unless statutory retention periods require otherwise.

5. Recipients of the Data

Your personal data will only be shared with third parties if necessary to carry out the sweepstakes or deliver the prize (e.g., shipping companies in the case of a win).

We do not transfer your data to third parties or to countries outside the European Union.
